The PCQI training given on 19, 20 and 21 February in Almeria ended to the 2018 training cycle organized by Extenda I have given by Goca Consulting The course of Preventive controls for human food has been imparted by our Technical Director José Luis Gómez Carrasco. A group of 20 participants made possible the development of a dynamic and enriching theoretical-practical training.

GOCA Consulting successfully completed Extenda’s food safety training at its facilities in Almeria. and Seville. This training cycle is encompassed in terms of security food processing, control of importers, fresh products, etc. and sea products.

All the courses given by GOCA Consulting allow you to obtain certificates of professionalism. recognized by the FDA.

GOCA offers PCQI training course for the agro-food sector

GOCA Consulting has given the training course for Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) at the facilities of Extenda. It has been an opportunity for the agri-food sector to become familiar with the US regulations of the FDA / FSMA. This course helps companies meet the PCQI training requirements under FSMA.

A total of 17 Andalusian companies have attended the PCQI training consistent with the standardized curriculum recognized by the FDA and have shared knowledge and experiences through a participatory methodology. It has been a fulfilling experience for all attendees.

GOCA Consulting offers PCQI training to ACESUR staff in their facilities

GOCA Consulting provided the PCQI training required by the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) to Aceites del Sur-Coosur staff. The training took place at the ACESUR facilities in Dos Hermanas in Seville, on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of October. The agri-food companies that need to comply with regulatory requirements must ensure that their food safety system is developed and implemented by staff who have successfully completed training in preventive controls.

FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Programmes) FSPCA Course held in Sevilla

On the 18^th and 19^th of October, Goca Consulting taught the Foreign Suppliers Verification Programmes (FSVP) Course at Extenda’s facilities in Seville. The training was led by José Luis Gómez Carrasco, our technical director and FSPCA Lead Instructor and fifteen agri-food companies participated. This FSVP course is of special interest for US importers as well as for exporting companies, since they will have comply with FSMA-related import requirements affecting their importers in the USA.

FSMA requires that exporters and importers of food or food ingredients perform certain activities to verify that foods imported into the United States comply with applicable food safety standards.

Since last September, Goca Consulting is providing training courses in collaboration with Extenda to support the capacity-building efforts of companies that seek to comply with the Food Security Modernization Act (FSMA) of the United States. These training courses are being taught in Almeria and Seville to give access to companies from the entire region of Andalusia.

The purpose of these FSPCA training courses is to train Andalusian companies and provide the official titles recognized by FDA in FSMA-related aspects. These training courses are required by the FDA for some companies in the food sector and recommended for others, depending on the type of company and training course.
